| I know this has been brought up before, but I was hoping you guys could throw up some pictures of different styles/ideas (how to examples).... I'm aware of the BPS's balancers, but I remember reading somewhere on here about having to shave a couple " off the butt?
Anyway, just wondering if there are any other brands/styles avaialble. I've used the lead tape strips, but not really fond of it....

| I use the ones from Bass Pro that you add quarters to for weight! I like them alot!

| I didn't think it would float before adding any weight? At least a spinning rod didn't, fishing for walleye, after a little mishap some years back. LOL
Thanks for the tips so far. In order to use the BPS balancers, it appears I would have to do a little shaving (which I would rather not). If any of you guys with the BPS B.'s could throw some pics up of how you're fitting them on, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | I heat up the balancer, hit the cork with a little silicone spray and use the pliability to get the balancer on a larger rod butt. One thing though, it won't come off one I have it installed. I like those things very tight so there's no rattle, so I glue them if the blank allows the balancer to move. |

Location: suspended over open water | I shaved down the cork a little to get the bass pro balancers over it...though I kinda wish I had thought of SWorralls trick now...oh well..it worked! |
