Some great looking fish on here! If anyone is interested in seeing how a Muskie Replica is done, I just finished my last in a series of videos on YouTube about the process. Enjoy!

Does anyone know who did 50orbetter's replica?

Based on my many years experience as a Fish Taxidermist, I would guess Advanced Taxidermy did it. And if anyone wants to really see a really good detailed Fish Replica, you should visit your state Taxidermy Association's annual competition or better yet, if you are anywhere close to St. Charles, MO this next May (2011), check out the World Taxidermy & Fish Carving Championships. Most would see quality you never knew existed...

This is my 1st post here, if I can figure out how to attach photo will show one of my Musky Replica's.

Here are two GB fall fatties. Lax got the call and just like a lot of other comments on here.... simply impressive artist work with two very happy costumers!

A true work of art like that of Fittante or Lax is something to behold. It takes an artist to bring even a skin mount back to life.

Here are a couple shots of my muskie reproduction. It's a 42" that was my first muskie that I caught at Cave Run, KY. The repo is from Jim Alred Taxidermy and I painted it myself.

Here are a couple shots of a Largemouth that I also did. It is a Dennis Arp 3D repo

Nice work. Particularly on the fins and tail. Looks like a skin mount to me, the work is so nice.

Hand wood carved 57 inch musky. Not mine, something that Hans the Carver brought into our studio when we had him on the show to talk about carving musky out of wood and fishing the Niagara (Hans is a cofounder of red october baits)

I think my first replica will have to go to Hans the Carver. He just finished up another fish and his wood replicas look better than any fiberglass on here. $65 an inch though.

Here is a hand carved wood Walleye and a Crappie that Hans the carver did also. His work is incredible. If you want a wood carving Hans is the man.
He is truly talented and a great guy.
