Have you caught more fish casting, or trolling (in the spring)?

I always catch more casting but I cast way more than I troll. This will hold true I'm sure just depends what you spend more time doing

Never done well in the spring until it warms a bit. Then it can be a good time to cast since many fish are and bait-fish are in shallower water.

I catch most of mine casting while wading. Very seldom troll, very seldom fish out of a boat.

some day casting is better some day trolling is better. don't ask me the reason,i have no idea other than great wind seems to bring more fish during trolling

When I was 30 I caught all my fish casting when I was 50 it was about half and half after turning 70 five years ago it became
98% trolling. Although over the years I caught some big fish casting I truly believe you catch on average bigger fish trolling.

edit our season starts mid June so I don't really fish in what I think of as spring
