Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Keith and I picked up our Lund 1650 Fury XL a week and a half ago, and I just finished her up. We fished the other morning in 15 to 20 mph winds and beat up the pike and walleyes, boat control was stellar. This is Sue's and mine, and she's pretty happy.
WAY more fishing and content creation time from this Friday into the future, too. It's going to be a great year.

I am curious about the Aqua View being mounted. Do you store the wire and head under the console? I take it you just feed it out by hand? I have one of the old units and while I still use it I have often thought about getting one of the smaller, newer units. This is the first time I have seen one mounted at the console. |

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Yes, the shuttle that holds the camera and cord is stored under the console. Easy to deploy and retrieve. This is a new accessory offered for the HD7i Pro and 10i Pro. I will get some killer video with the camera this year. Recording is accomplished with a gaming recorder run on a usb connection on the dash and a HDMI cord. I can get a couple hours on a 32 gig card.
I also have the trolling XD Trolling Fin with Live Strike™ kit ready to roll. Should be fun!
And, I'll be able to record the best underwater lure footage ever, including a real time sound track from a hydrophone. |

| Steve, very nice rig. Will be watching for it this summer.
With four batteries and a wide array of electronics, do all four get charged by the same onboard charger? My head hurts just thinking about all the wiring and rigging Keith had to do. |

| Steve and Keith, Nice rig, I love how you have set it up. As someone who is completely redoing his boat a lot of these rigging thoughts have been going through my head, but it looks like you guys made it all happen. I was looking into rod holder tracks.
How did you choose these and what are the features you like about them?

What exactly are you describing here? Like vertical rod holders or something horizontal? Rod storage is an issue in my 1650 rebel which is very similar to the fury. |

OK thanks. I've got a single one to use as a net holder and it can hold a rod if the walleye net isn't in there. My issue is traveling to the lake with long rods and not wanting them in the SUV. I'm working on a solution but it is tough when the fold up casting deck/seats can bounce around and crush anything loose in the boat. Number one goal is to secure that thing, then hold rods down but out of the way in case it comes loose. |

Was it? Is Lund now adding ladders to their boats? I haven’t looked at their new boats lately. If so, a nice safety feature for sure! Especially when fishing alone in the fall. |

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | The Power Pole is Starboard because of the ladder. Yes, have used it, and it holds really well no matter how rough it is. Would not own a boat without one!
Might look funny not holding a tiller handle, but Sue will be happy, and we are in a comfortable ride where we now can feel really good about ownership all the way around. The 'Lund experience' has been absolutely wonderful from M&J to the Factory folks. Great people building, marketing, selling, and servicing Lund Boats.
The Aqua-Vu on board is easy to use and really a neat option to check a sonar reading. Got us on some walleyes last week, and found the bull gills deep, too.
It was REALLY windy on Vermilion last week, and the 1625 Fury handled it very well. I was pleasantly surprised on the rough days how well the boat handled it. With the Smooth Move AIR seats, it rides like a Caddy.
Adding an in dash stereo and a Humminbird 7" SI G2 this week. Will take off the Lowrance 5" Hook Side Scan capable sonar and sell it, decided to get a larger screen for the console after using the rig for a week. |

I was thinking one of the micro 5" models on the dash. How do you troll with it? Is the camera heavy enough to not require a ton of "line" (cord) How does it track?
I was walleye fishing yesterday and marking a ton of fish high and low. Sure would be nice to see what they were and adjust accordingly.

Quite a bit, we work with Aqua-Vu on several fronts. A Micro can be set up to troll slowly with, but it's way easier to run a 700i as it has a dash ready monitor and a wiring kit available for the project and has the fins and mounts for trolling with the camera clipping the line to a quick release.

| Hey nice boat and set up! I too have a 1625 fury and I'm equipping it for muskie. Where do you store your muskie net, and how do you find the cannon rod holders? Are they muskie rated, do they slide well and work well with sport track system. Are they by woodlander outdoors? Not sure if the plastic mounts lund sells will be sturdy enough |
