2K auto clear, used to use Dupont, many many choices now days.  You'll need a good booth and respirator

Yup that's the stuff.  Once you mix the two components you have a "pot life" time until the product is cured.  You could spray with a .5mm tip, chances are you will end up ruining the airbrush eventually.   When I spray auto clear I use a dedicated airbrush.  A single stage external mix Paasche H with the large tip.  If you freeze up a tip a replacements are readily available.

Don't take the warnings lightly that this is nasty stuff to spray.  Do your homework.

I used it--VERY NASTY-- you really need a spray booth and Proper ventilation and also very good Breathing Mask... I used it once but for me--Never again because I don't have the proper ventilation...

I use it too with ventilation and a good respirator and cover all exposed skin as well that means gloves and googles. I use it as a clear coat in my taxidermy side line for fish.. One trick I learned very quickly was to cut down the air supply to the minimum amount need to spray. I MEAN as LITTLE air as possible. This drastically cuts down the over spray mist and conserves material as well. If done properly there is no visible over spray "cloud". Air brushing is possible but a cheap gravity feed Harbor Freight gun is the best way to go IMO . I've been using the same one for 8yrs. Paid $15.00 for it but a complete cleaning take down is required at times. I also must periodically clean the blades in my exhaust fan. This stuff builds up every where!!
