Is it happening again this year? I realize it doesn't feel like spring, but it is coming according to the calendar.

It's been fun, but schedule is nuts this year. Team Bateski is out, unfortunately. Good luck to all!

For what it's worth, Slamr and I haven't even been able to get together to wrap up 2017. We still need to get Beef Supreme their second place Suick lure packages (hang with me Beefers, we'll get you taken care of).

How does that relate to the original post.......I don't see myself running MatchFishing 2018. I enjoyed it for several years, but as I knew full well, the reward was satisfaction of helping out and having another connection to muskie angling. While those rewards are good, they no longer balance with the commitment required.

I've got some normal life things I need to take advantage of instead. My free time will be spent meeting my 2018 goal of adding 50 more hours of fishing to my schedule.

Can't blame you, Mike, it seemed like an awful lot of work for a friendly competition. Really appreciate you doing it the last 3 years.

We'll run it, using a new app. Give me some time and we will get this done. I have a 5 day shoot to get back from, and I am on it!

Working on a monthly elimination idea using FishDonkey beginning in July and ending in November. Prizes will be much larger, and everything will be scored electronically on an app. Will keep everyone up to speed soon as I hear back.

OK, we should be good to go by July one, all the rules and set-up requirements will be posted when I get back from vacation on Vermilion.
