Location: WI | Been using it for 2yrs with no problems. Currently it's getting cleaned etc. & checked for any damage I may have caused. I have a very bad habit of hitting those extra long handle knobs and engaging the reel mid-cast, alot. |

| Your Lexa 400HD has a near bullet proof drive train, you are not going to phase the gears burning double 10's. |

Location: plant earth | The HD version has stainless steel main and pinion gears. All others have brass main and pinion gears. |

| I have used this reel (pre HD) for the last three years, pretty much just for tens. I have a number of different rigs and throw a variety of baits, so it's not like I'm grinding tens all the time. It has been great for my needs. Had Pikemaster look it over this winter when I sent a couple of other reels in, and he said it was in great shape and holding up fine. |
