Looking for help-info to install a set of bow rails on a 2012 620 Ranger.
I've searched the web without any luck and have also talked to Ranger parts
which was not helpful either. I realize there is more than just lining up and drilling and was hoping to get as much detailed information as possible--thanks

I installed rails on my Tuffy, got them from windline I believe. They really were as simple as line up and drill.

Use the pads that come with. Run the right sized hole and use a countersink bit so you don't chip the glass. Once you get the holes all drilled and lined up fill them with red locktite and put the screws in by hand with screwdriver no gun.

Its key to get the holes the right size. They must be just slightly larger than the shank of the screw. Drill through masking tape to prevent chipping and then countersink large enough that no part of the screw touches the gel coat. This prevents surface cracking in the gel coat.
