Happy Thanksgiving everyone. We have broken tradition and celebrate a meal from the first people who came over wearing gucci dress shoes, slacks, pinkie ring and a wife beater. An Italian grocery store near me makes really good pizza ingredients. Sorry pilgrims, do better next time!

First of 49 Thanksgivings for me where nobody has to break their ass cooking for three days to feed a house full of people they really don't like the other 11 months of the year.

We're having a Thanksgiving brunch at Gibson's. Everybody chips in $50, and then we're all going somewhere to sit around and drink. AND the horse you rode in on.

Pork Shoulder/Butts coming off the smoker to rest in about 30 minutes, tomorrow am. will set the smoker up for the bird and the typical accompaniments will join in ... sour cream baked mashed potatoes, glazed carrots, garlic sautéed asparagus, creamed corn, sausage stuffing and hawaiian rolls ... with a Perkins Pie. Happy Thanksgiving to almost everyone!!

Amazing all the freedoms and benefits this country affords us. As a nation we are far better off then the majority of the rest of the world. To all the service people past and currant that make it possible my heartfelt thank-you.

Bless you and Happy Thanksgiving!!

Best to all on a wonderful holiday, three of my four kids and their families made it down here to SW Florida, we swam and fished all afternoon and I carved a beautiful bird for dinner, life is good and I’m truly thankful. Wish the same blessings to you and yours.
