Just saw in a post that someone has a bay they fish they call "Mad Otter Bay". Then thought of spots me and buddies have named such as The Slut, The Aquarium, The Southern Parking Lot, Crazy Old Man Bay.

Got some to share (w/ GPS coordinates, of course)?

The south end of the basin which is opposite of echo bay on webster we call groucho. There is a 2 story yellow house with two black awnings on the two 2nd floor windows that makes it look like groucho marx.

Round rock bar that has a deep water cut into it I call the belly button.
Deep weed bay we found on new water we call hotty bay because there was a couple hotties sun tanning on a swim raft we went to explore.
The valley of the Giants is deep water that makes a y with 3 shallow rock bars.
And Ron Jeremy is a long rock bar that has a lot of fat girls on it.

Dead Indian a.k.a. "Sh*t Island"

There's also Samantha's Island, Badfinger Bay, the donut bar...

A buddy of mine has a spot on LOTW known as "Oh My God" where he raised the biggest fish he and his buddies had ever seen.

"can you hear me now?" after a buddy dropped his phone against the side of the boat, breaking it into several pieces as it went overboard.

"sh*t sandwich" is a tiny little bay where we stopped to eat and discovered our lunch was less than edible.

Too many to list. The guys I go to LOTW with and I started naming spots years ago to make conversations easier. My favorites are Bloody Pelican, Spotted Dick, Double Ender, "F... Me" and G.P.

Have one I call Naked Girl Bar. We had a nice fish up on a bar on a lake. I dropped an icon and went back to fish it. Problem was there was a pontoon there with yup; a naked girl flaunting it jumping off the pontoon and swimming around while her boyfriend laughed, then trying to carry on a conversation with us.

As a little kid, my nephew was ALWAYS dirty and acquired the nickname Pigpen. Caught his biggest fish at the time on a spot that became Pigpen Point.

Too many to list them all, but here are some LOTW spots:

Shanghai Slums
Elton John's Pecker (makes sense if you knew the spot)
The Jugs
The Hoggle
The Mother
Choice Islands
21 Jump Street
Lost & Found
Frustration Gap
The You-Know-Where's
Schoolhouse Rocks

Ok, I feel weird now. It feels like I just gave away half of our best LOTW spots.

"The Sanctuary". A spot we named awhile ago and just a handful of guys know about it and it will stay that way. It produces big fish consistently!

Got a few islands and points on a fav. lake that my fishing buddy and I, both VN combat vets have named after some "memorable" locations in SE Asia.

We "try" not to keep bringing up the war as the discussion inevitably brings up the wet-eye-syndrome and we both feel bummed for a few then ... back to fishing. New rule in my boat, "No more VN talk!" Always fails with the areas mentioned.

Edit -Sorry for danged downer... There have been some really laughable loc. names shared. Loved it. Great topic.

We also have MF'er bay, named after Samantha's first figure 8 fish, where after setting the hook she yelled "HA!! Take THAT, mother******!!!!!!"

Believe it or not there's really not as much yelling and swearing in our boat as our spot names would lead you to believe...

Then there's "no fish point" where I got a 48"er one cast after exclaiming "Let's get outta here. There's no fish on this point!"

One evening, we had a fish come in suicidal on a bucktail and moments later, another exploded on a topwater. Henceforth, the spot has been called "Allahu Rock Bar"
