Does anyone else have this boat and motor setup. Was just wondering what prop your running and what motor height (hole) your set on and the speed your seeing. I bought this boat in June and love it was just wondering if mine has the optimal set up. Mine is set on the lowest hole with a 23 pitch fx4 prop getting 49-50 fully loaded at 5700 rims.

Wisriver-I have a similar setup, but with an I4 Mercury Verado 200 rather than the Etec. My boat is set up with a 19 pitch Tempest + prop. With a light load I see 49 mph at 6400 rpm, which is the max RPM for my engine. My engine is set in the middle hole (#3 of 5). You could call Ranger and ask for their prop specialist. He can tell you if your setup is optimal for your rig. I'm guessing that you are pretty close to optimal setup for all around performance.

Glad to hear you guys like your Anglers, because I just bought a 2080 this year but haven't had a chance to use it much yet. They are somewhat maligned hulls (at least the 2080 is), in the sense that their cost isn't too far off that of a 620...and that "They only have a Reata hull!".

Ugh.
