Looking at a 2015 boat with this engine and the throttle control on the handle seemed somewhat loose and could wiggle it in all directions. I have ran other tiller engines and have never noticed this. Is this normal for the big tiller handles?

Thanks

I have the big tiller handle on a 90 and mine has a little play in it but not what i would call loose.
there is a little play in the handle in mine because it is the power tiller handle, which may be what you are referring to. i really like mine.

If it has power steering the actuator is located in the base of the throttle and there is some play.

It does have hydraulic assist. Not sure if same as power steering. Anxious to get out on the water and see how it performs

The actuator is in the throttle handle. That is the play you are seeing. I have the uflex on mine and it works great. Though the Titan system with the actuator at the base of the handle is better. Had that on my previous boat with a yammie but that can no longer be purchased.

If its the Uflex system you will need to rebleed the system. You have a small amount of air in it.
I have the exact set up and had to redo it this year. Works great now no movement
