Heading to Vermilion for a Wednesday-Saturday trip this week. Wondering if anybody has been there recently and how the water temps were looking. Hoping they are approaching 70+ but we'll get what we get!

Thanks,

Tucker

I just left the West end this morning. If I remember correctly, it was low 70's yesterday.

Just found a picture that I took last night and could see my graph in the picture. It was 73.1 in Wake'm up Narrows at 7:30 last night

Thank you, good to hear. Looks like a little rain and cooler weather coming but crossing my fingers that the generally warmer weather will make for a decent bite this week.

Got back Saturday evening. Tough trip. Boated a 42 and saw 1 or two each day the other days. Biggest follow was maybe 47-48. Saw a tanker porpoise while we trolled for about 2 hours one day.

Water temps were about 65 on Wednesday in the wind, cold, and rain. Warmest we saw was about 71-72 on the one day that was flat calm and hot. Most of the trip was 66-68 degree water.

42 came on a Spanky double 10. Raised a couple more fish on bucktails, my Dad had a couple on a small Hellhound. 42 came from about 5 feet in weeds on the west side. Others were on rock on the East side. Probably should have headed West more.

Neat lake. Would like to try it again some day.
