What's working for people? Seems the bite has been pretty difficult, but jerkbaits are raising fish. Aiming to put 4-5 days in next week for the holidays to key in on a pattern. Will let you guys know what I find.

Second this.

We've moved fish on jerkbaits, both side to side and dive and rise, along with big plastics.

Haven't moved a single one on a bucktail... They must not work anymore..

It seems the Muskies have moved deeper on a lot of lakes. We're having success using medium to large spinner baits. Absolutely nothing on bucktails, cranks, jerk baits, or topwater. The key is working the deepest outside weed edges and letting the spinner bait drop down to the weed tops. That generally means a 5-10 second drop time to get the lure there, depending on depth, blade type and lure weight. Slow rolling with up/down direction changes seems to work best. 2-4 oz CJs and Rad Dogs with willow blades have been best.

Moved some good fish on bucktails over the weekend, BURNING THEM FAST. Not burning resulted in absolutely nothing. The other ticket was dive and rise baits, missed one that somehow didn't stay pinned, scales on the hook to mock me I guess :
As stated before, deepest weeds you can find, stay OFF the weeds and cast to them.

43" on Saturday eve, inside edge in 12' of water near a quick drop to 25'. Twenty minutes before moonrise. Rubber at medium pace over the tops. My brother had two follows on a tandem bucktail, medium retrieve.

75-76º on White Bear Lake today. Had a huge fish follow a Medussa at 07:30... or rather it came in from the side where I wasn't looking and turned away before I could fig 8. Tomorrow looks like tough conditions with calm, clear skies and high barometer, but I'm going back for sunrise anyway! Going to throw some topwater at dawn and twitch a Phantom Softail around a bit.

Last Sunday it was 76 and we left at 10 am. I would think it has to be around 78 during the day.

WBL recently: The morning of Monday 24th had a couple mid/high 30's follow a Medussa, but turn away at boat side... Real nice mid 40's followed half a fig 8, made a swipe and hung around for a bit. Water temps 75-76º.

Evening of Wed. 2nd temp 78º. Nav lights quit working so only got 1.5 hours in.

This morning before sunrise, temp 68 rising to 73 by 1:00pm. Took a break around 09:00 and while drifting came right up on a low 40's just hangin' on the bottom in 5' of water. Threw a couple lures in it's general direction.

Whats going on with WBL this year? There's not very much millfoil compared to the past few years and a lot more cabbage ... water is super clear with some weeds out to almost 24' - fishing has been tough - any ideas?

Small bucktails and spinner baits, reefs , shallow, or 12 to 20 feet. Find the bait fish and burn some blades fast

Zeebs on white bear this year. You can find them on almost every floating weed out there after a busy weekend, no surprise they spread around the lake so quickly. I think the much higher water level this year is responsible for the different weed growth.

Lot of follows today, lot of mistakes. Boated two, 34" and 36", the fish wanted everything FAST

If they are attached to weeds they are most likely quagga muscles. zeebs more annoying sister as they can grow just about anywhere on any surface.

Incorrect. Zebra mussels readily attach to vegetation. White Bear Lake is infested with zebra mussels, not quagga. I don't believe any water in MN is designated infested with quagga mussels.
