Doesn't look like five feet of muskie to me. I'll buy it at 50.75"...

I've noticed a lot of people have been getting ripped off when buying there rulers. Can't believe people are selling rulers that are missing the first 10 inches

Bad hold, but remember, the guy is a bass angler. OK to hold a bass that way.

I thought you held a bass by holding the lower jaw horizontally letting the weight of the bass torque the #*#* out the hinge in the jaw. Thats the macho pose i see the pros use on tv.

40 pounds is so light for a 60.75"x28.25" fish.
Why would Musky Hunter even publish something like this?

If this becomes a rip on the angler fest because of the hold or the stated size...to the basement.

60" or 50" it's a great fish...even if it peees us muskie guys to see a lowly bass angler catch it!

Just another case of poor measurements with improper tools, and rightfully so if they're bass fishing.

Probably the most frustrating part to people is the publicity it's getting when it's clearly poorly measured in some way or another. It's a 40#'er for sure, but its not 60x28

One hell of a catch for a bass fisherman for sure, and he's got a story for the rest of his life

These dudes were out to catch some 20" bass, it's not that hard to understand how there might be some inaccuracies when they tie into a fish over 50". Cool fish, I'm looking forward to making a trip out to the Bay one of these years. I'm going to need a bigger boat ??

If length and girth are accurate the formula puts it at 60+
