I want to mount a Lowrance SS transducer to my Ranger 620. I plan to mount it flush to the hull in the transom recess in front of the plug. I would like to know what size screws I should use. I don't want the transducer to fall off, but I don't want to put scres all the way through the bottom of the hull. I hate the idea of putting holes in the hull, but I don't have much choice.

Thanks,
Ray

Are you sure that your side scan will be able to read in that location?

Use # 10 stainless sheet metal screws with lots of sealant. Drill pilot hole lager than you normally would as the fiberglass is real hard.

Side scan will work just fine.
