Posts: 20178 Location: oswego, il | Lots of searchable info on this topic. Baymont inn on little mack rd in roseville has electrical hookups. One issue you will run into is that city motels will be rented by people who use them to party. I have experienced it at several motels in this area, even had people trying to get in my room one night at a motel across from the red roof. I have experienced the same at other discount motels in other cities. I would search for a house in the area. Edited by ToddM 5/2/2017 8:59 PM

Posts: 61 | Any tips for fishing the Michigan side in late June? Is the river going at that time?

Posts: 431 | In June you can find decent numbers on the Michigan side finding cabbage and burning bucktails. Up around L'ance Cruise Bay is still good that time of year. It gets tougher on the Michigan side when the dog days hit in my experience. That said I had a crappy June last year.

Posts: 21 | I agree totally with people saying stay away. Don't live too far from there and I wouldn't want my boat in the parking lot overnight. For security reasons I would head north. That being said, I also like Anchor Bay/L'ance cruise Bay better that time of year. But, the Detroit River always has monsters roaming around....always. Edited by Guitarbite 5/16/2017 7:54 PM

Posts: 20178 Location: oswego, il | I have never had issues with people on drugs or theft, just all night partying, yelling amd running up and down the halls. The one time people tried getting in my room, i more suspect it was someone thinking my room was someone elses. Alot of boats stay at places like baymont and red roof, baymont has cameras. For me its an issue of sleep, your not getting any.

Posts: 1767 Location: Lake Country, Wisconsin | Last time I went I stayed way NW...think it was maybe either Sterling Heights or Rochester Hills. Wasn't perfect but it was much better. Absolutely zero chance I would ever keep my boat at anywhere in those Roseville hotels
