6 to 8 years old 14 pound is that a growth rate as good or near as good as st-lawrence ,great lakes ?
im not a biologist but i was sure champlain got everything for big fish no?

Sounds like growth rate for a male muskie. Females grow bigger and faster.

was sure that lake got everything in place for big fish.strain is not the best one i guess.big deception .......

I don't believe the restoration has been ongoing that long...takes time to grow the BIG girls!

yes sure.the lake health in general is a lot better but the bay still got hvy algae bloom problem.i think they use the same strain that was there so i don't know if a cleaner water will help a lot to produce monster.a minnow guy that i know have seen a lot of them at the pike river
