Posts: 4 | Looking to see if you guys know who makes 17ft+ tiller boats. Having a hard time coming across them! Would also like to have a casting platform with trolling motor and GPS capabilities. Looking for this style of boat right now to be economical. Thank you!

Posts: 4 | I am looking for a tiller capable of bigger water. I would say I am trying to keep it under $10,000. Will look into the back troller boats.

Posts: 1425 Location: St. Lawrence River | You should be able to find a really Nice Lund Rebel Tiller for under 10k. Nice wide beam, they are fun boats to fish from. Fully floored with a front deck. Just what your looking for. Where you located? 16's are easy to find, once you get up to 17 it's a little tougher but you can find a 17 foot Tiller for that 9-10 mark.. Posts: 1000 | bulk of the cost is going to be the motor. a relatively-bare 17 footer should be punted out of the water by a good 40-50hp motor

Posts: 705 Location: Alex or Alek? | Check what the rated HP is for the boat you end up finding vs what is on it. If its not within 5-10 HP you'll regret it. larger tillers dog out of the water without it.

Posts: 20179 Location: oswego, il | There are just not alot of tiller boats out there bigger than 17ft even though they offer that style. Finding one that size and in your price range will take some time and patience.

Posts: 189 | Look for a tuffy rampage magnum tiller. 18'. Deeper than a esox magnum for bigger water.

Posts: 279 Location: Central Wisconsin | Kinda surprised nobody mentioned the Warrior tillers. They can be found relatively cheap, and seem to be great bigger water boats.
