How may hooks do you like to put on your bucktails and what kind( single or treble) ? And why?

I mostly make double 8's with a single skirt & single 7/0 or 6/0 treble. When I make double 10's I use a 7/0 treble on the back & a 6/0 on the front. I usually take off the front hook if there's a lot of floating weeds.

7/0 back and if I make them longer I use a 7/0 or 6/0 rear with a 6/0 or 5/0 front. Also a few tricks to keep everything tidy on the front hook is either glue where the three books spread out or my favorite option is to slide 1/3 inch of heat shrink down to the base and beat it up. This keeps the tinsel from getting stuck.
