X3 on Dorns. Great shop it's easy to spend a lot of money there. Just was in there getting reels spooled up.

Sorry to hear about Mr Wallenfang having to cancel, but have heard Mr Olson speak before, and I'm sure it'll be an excellent presentation. Thank you (from me) to Mr Olson for being willing to take over. See you all tomorrow. Don

The 16th Annual Muskie School was a great success! 255 Attendees participated which included 26 kids that were 17 and younger. Thank you all who were present yesterday. We are reading through the School Evaluation forms and taking your suggestions into consideration next year.. Nearly all were very favorable.

We could not have succeeded without more that a dozen Capital City Muskies Inc volunteers. Waunakee High School Fishing Team, Duffy Kopf School Liason, Pure Fishing, Abu Garcia, Fenwick, Monster Lures, Vibrations Tackle, Chaos Tackle, Lakewood Products, John Eversoll, Muskiefirst and all our great Fishing Guides and Instructors. Thanks also to Dorn Hardware Sports Shop & Wilderness Fish and Game and all the others….you know who you are and we appreciate it.

Proceeds will go to our Leech Lake Strain/Wisconsin Strain Muskie Study and a Muskie Angler Scholarship program for Waunakee Wis. High School seniors.

Thank you for attending!

Many thanks to all the instructors, donors, volunteers, students who participated last Saturday. I know it was tough to pass up the Wisconsin basketball game Saturday afternoon - but most everyone who attended stayed the entire day and flipped on their DVR to catch it later. It looks like registering on line was something many people liked doing - so we will do that again next year. We sure appreciate all the good suggestions and comments we received via the evaluations at the conclusion of the school. We will try some new classes that were recommended of next year and will try to fine tune this event to respond to the students needs and preferences. We can't accommodate all the requests but we will definitely respond to as many as possible. Have a great 2017 season and hope to see you again next March!
