I sure am happy I can't drink anymore. The after effects from that stuff are incredible and not real conducive to fishing much the next morning.

I have some real KY grown apple pie and lemonade shine I am bringing. Good smooth stuff, I was able to fish all day even. Note I said fish, only 1 was caught...

Thanks to Mike, muskynut09, I am coming, as is he now. I had decided to cancel, because Mike was not going to make it this year. But due to a change in his circumstances, he is now going and bringing his boat, so I will meet him in Lake Geneva and go up with him. CONGRATS PAPA MIKE!

I had planned on bringing my "New To Me" boat up from AR in June and fishing and then leaving it up north to use during the outing. However, I blew a bearing 3 hours into the trip up and the boat stayed behind to get repaired. That expense, plus having to rent a boat while up there, was not enjoyable. However, a shoutout to Steve and Joe at Spring Bay. They cut me a deal on a rental boat so I could get on the water whenever I wanted. Again, they really are great guys. Can't wait. I only casted for muskies for about 5 hours over a week in June. Lots of pike and bass were had though!

Bring on the Big Black Crappies! Steve, you'll have plenty of help with the fish fry this year.

Glad to hear both you guys are going to be up.

+1 on Steve and Joe, I had the same thing happen on the way up a couple years ago and the hooked me up with a camp boat till mine was fixed.

That would be interesting, there's always one close. The biggest muskie I saw last year anywhere was in the bay across by a boathouse.

Family obligations come first, I can't make it. Big Bummer. I'll be there in spirits, tho, all the beer for the big dinner is on me. Hope you folks thrash the water in a mighty manner!

That fish sits next to a sunken tree. It loves silver and blue.

Musky Pete can't make the outing this year but I will be at Spring Bay the week before Aug. 12-19th with the family, so good luck to all you guys as all the muskies will be educated by the time I leave.

Presumably, u mix the liquid in the stock pot and warm it up then add the sugar & cinnamon sticks stir till sugar dissolves and the transfer to the mason jars?
Eric,
Ask your Dad if he'd like some more of this. lol

Apple Pie Moonshine

1 750ml bottle of 190 proof Everclear – If you can’t get Everclear in your state, high proof vodka can work also.
About 1 cup of Captain Morgan Spiced Rum – Two cups tastes pretty good also… just saying.
1 Gallon Apple Cider
1 Quart Apple Juice
3 Cups of Brown Sugar
1 Cup of White Sugar
10 Cinnamon Sticks
1 Large Stock Pot
6 Mason Jars (Quart-sized)

You Girls have fun.. I'll have to sit this one out.
I can't begin to describe how Awesome Joe and Steve are and how much they make you feel like your part of their Family. Not a better resort on the lake !
If work ever picks back up, I plan on living there again, if possible.
There 's many reasons why Musky first has their outings at Spring Bay... Just too many to list.
Tell great stories around that camp fire every night Boys. And catch a Whopper !
