A couple of videos my brother and I made from recent trips to Eagle Lake North Shore Lodge with our sons... I love watching home made videos to get me through the hard water months. Anyone else got any??? Any good instructional videos? One can always learn something!

Nice work. Some of the drone shots were pretty cool. You were lucky you didn't hook it on that one cast.

Those are fantastic! Excellent editing work.

They should bring smiles for many, many years to come. Especially 15 or 20 years from now when the youngsters watch them again with a new appreciation and relive all those great memories.

What is the first piece of music on the 2014 video.

Thanks for sharing,
Talmooner

Thanks!
Talmooner, I hunk you are talking about the song "all my days" by Alexi Murdoch. The acoustic song right? I like that song. It was in the move "real steel" too.

Yes! That was it. It sounded so familiar but I could not place it.
Thanks for getting that ear worm identified. Have to get some of his stuff.

And, again, get vids.

By the way, what kind of drone are you using?

Amazing videos! If you don't mind me asking, how much did that drone cost you? It had great video quality.

I would think the dji inspire is best for double tens!! Lol. It that wil set you back about $3000.

Tornadoflipn, my brother and I paid $499 for the drone (dji phantom 3 standard) I have recently seen it for $399. It "only" shoots up to 2.7k video. I had it at 1080p I think. I had it 2000 feet away a few times and still had good video. The newest ones go much further. I am happy with what I have right now.

Here is a video I put together the other day. Just something to help get through the off-season. Nothing to flashy, let me know your thoughts! Highlights from the 2016 season, here in Minnesota.

Sweet videos! Only thing that would've made them better is some good death metal music

Timmyp,
Very cool.what type of camera/battery are you using for the "follow" shots? Something that has a charger? I use gopros, quad copters etc, it they all have limited battery life and getting good shots like you have are difficult for me due to the time constraints. That and the fact that I am not good.lol

Davep- I just have a handful of batteries that I switch in and out on the GoPro. Yes, it is a little bit of a hassel, but I have it down to a pretty quick science so I can still maximize my fishing time. Having the cigarette lighter charger is also very key in the boat.

Hello Fisherman, I am a Dutch fisher. Unluckely we dont have muskies in Holland, only Nothern Pikes, big Pikeperches (walley lookalike) en big Perch. I would like to show 3 movies of my own. If it is not allowed because it are no musky in the video just remove it. But I couldnt find a pike forum. I also appologize for my poor english.

The first Youtube video is a lure I developped myself and called a twistfly. I catch a lot of pikes on it. also some very big pikes. The second is a video when I lost a monster pike. It was about 50"or bigger, what is pretty big here for a pike. But what my fishing friends say. Knowing is measuring :(. The Third video is only a slideshow with some pikes in action with only photographs. A few nice one with a photo of a jumping pike only tailwalking and the pike straight out of the water. I will hope you enjoy this video. I have some more videos but I dont want to spam this forum too much.

Anyway, this is a nice forum. And i am still jalous you have so much nice water and beautiful fish in your country. It is still the big brother or do i have to say sister of the pikes. Maybe once i come that way to fish on lake of the woods. When i have the money for it.

Kind regards

This is my last video that I uploaded. Also only pike attacks on Twistfly.

From our smal ditches in the Dutch Poldersystem, some brutal or very soft takes of pike. Most American, Canadian I ever spoke was went or talking Amsterdam. But when you come to Holland don't forget your fishing-rod and to fish in the water near the Windmills. But even the most small waters can contain pikes, sometimes longer than 40"

I would also like to say, a saw plenty of muskiemovies & video's from the posters here above, and have seen some great videos. That figure eighting is really cool and that is what I missing, when pike fishing. And also the size of the fish ofcourse.
