Location: Probably Minnesota that time... | I have been using Ace epoxy for years now. I haven't had any issues other than it gets spendy & it sets up too quickly at times. Definitely is limiting how much I can do at a time. I do like that it does not shrink or expand, perhaps it does but it has not cracked & bulged like I have seen on some baits. There must be a better choice, what works for you??? -Chris

Oh, & I know I've seen something on here fairly recently, but my search was not productive.... This is mainly for maple, but also a bit of cedar too.

| Use a two part epoxy putty. Bonds like a rock and is sandable. Been using it for years without issue. |

| +1 on the two-part putty. You gotta wait a little longer for it to fully dry before sanding (at least the one i use), otherwise it can gum up on the sandpaper. Other than that, it's great... It dries up rock hard, and waterproof. |

Location: Florida | Two part epoxy putty is very good to fill in holes in home made lures and it is very easy to sand down.
