Anyone had a chance to ride/fish out of one? I looked at one today maxed out with a 115HO etec and was impressed. Wondering the usual stuff: how it rides, handles wind, chop, etc. Thanks for any input you might have.

Hey Hooked-

I have read a lot about this boat and guys are extremely happy with it. They rave about how it fishes with the trolling motor down. It's a modified V-hull so it is going to be a somewhat rough ride in a chop like all tin boats of that style. Guys get it to run in the high 40s with a 115 and some get it a little over 50 with modifications. It's going to blow around more than a glass boat but less than a deep V because of it's lower profile. If I was buying a tin bass boat for inland lakes, that is the boat I'd get. They are coming out with a 198 maxed at 150. The dark red is a sweet color. Good luck.
