Anyone know if the long telescopic TI rods up to 10'6" will fit in a Down East rod holder? I've seen it posted that they use a big reel seat and wondering if they fit well.

They may fit I'll check when I get home. I can't get my Toro S or Beast to fit due to the gear case though.

That would be much appreciated. Wondering if I throw a trolling reel on one if it'll fit or not. Worried with the bigger reel seat it might be too snug to be practical.

yes they do fit. i have the 10'6 telescopic and it fits in my holders. i filed down the trigger though so that it locks into the opening in the bottom.

Side note, I just made 50 TI 8' XH trolling rods. I made these 5 years ago but not too many.. Enough guys have asked me to make these again so I made 50. Sold 16 so far. I will not be putting these on my site. Normally they would be $165 MSRP +S/H but if anyone wants one they will be $150 with free S/H. I have the guys who wanted them taken care of now so on the chopping block they go

Made them with the same monster metal guides too so you can beat them all day long to get the ice off The guides are all no-ring guides.

I chose to grind out the rod holder instead of grinding the trigger on my rods. Looks factory and my rods are intact.
