Location: Lake Tomahawk, WI | With a double on both days, Mark Lijewski and Jeff Piazza were able to edge day 1 leaders Nick Cammartta and Gary Lehnherr to take the 2016 Eagle River PMTT first place trophy and a check for 19k. Saturday night's storm did not the effect the fish as much as thought, with 22 more muskies being registered on Sunday. Mark and Jeff aggressively worked rubber baits like Medusas and Bulldawgs along weed edgers to trigger their fish into biting. As usual, the Eagle River Chain didn't disappoint anglers, with many fish caught, seen, and lost. Next stop, Madison Chain in mid-September, for which there are some openings left.
