Location: Glen Ellyn Il | I finally got around on making some jerkbaits. The very large one is a crossbreed from a Suick to a Wade wobler, I made the Suick tail 15% larger, the bait is a take off of the Wade wobler, total length with tail 12-3/4 inches long by 1-3/4 wide, I made a s/s steel lip guard so when the bait is slammed in the rocks it will not start to mushroom, I had that problem with the woblers
My other attempt is to make a jerk bait with the line tie on top, I got lucky due to I had a very old Striker, so it was easy on making a copy and how to weight this type of bait. I made an exact copy of the Striker and the second I used one of my glide baits and made it in to a jerkbait. The baits are not leaded as of now once they are sealed I will lead them.
