I recently purchased the hummingbird 1199 SI HD. When I power the unit on I keep getting an error that my transducer is not connected. Anyone ever run into this situation. If so what was your fix.

1st make sure the transducer is connected

2nd make sure you have high definition transducer selected in your sonar menu.
3rd try to reset defaults and power it down and re start it.

Also make sure your battery is putting out enough voltage. I had numerous issues with my unit when my battery was getting older. The new electronics demand enough voltage to work correctly.
