Hello all, I'm tossing around trying to make my own and first crankbait. Going to be something in the 5.5-6" range. My biggest question is this, what is the standard eye size everyone uses? I understand it's personal preference, but what is the most commonly used size?

Thanks in advance.

Like eyeball size or screw eye size? I use .5" eyeballs and .092 stainless screw eyes. 1.25" long I think

Well here is my very first attempt, mind you its just balsa wood to play with and see how I like the shape. I just took a 2x2x12 piece and went to work. Waiting on different shape lips to show up before I go any further. I dont know if I am going to go as far as painting this one seeing as it is Balsa.
