Can't figure out why whenever I post something on the General Discussion forum it almost always gets bumped to another board?

Probably because it's more appropriate in the other more specific board

That would be correct. If it's a fishing report or destination, well, it should be posted there. Tackle and Equipment? There you go. Boats and Motors? Same deal. Hence, the board titles.

Post something to the general discussion board that belongs elsewhere, it will rapidly end up on page 2 or 3. In the correct forum, it will get the desired response.

I'm really not trying to pick a fight here but i see ''ICAST: New Revo Toro S'' Why shouldn't that be under tackle and equipment? or ''ICAST 2015, Revo Beast Muskie Reel'' or''ICAST: New Humminbird Helix 7''? also tournament reports like '' Dave & Jim Phillips Win the Charlie Baker Memorial Muskie Tournaent'' or ''Raley and Osfar in The Lead; Eagle River PMTT Day 1'' why aren't they in the tournament board? just trying to learn here i'm fairly new!

Because MuskieFIRST is a copyrighted, privately owned news and information publication, not an open source blog. Event coverage (which is exactly what you mentioned)has been always and will be posted to the General Discussion forum and eventually moved to the forum where it will remain archived into the future.

Thanks!

You may have offended ToddM. Most folks who offend him get a free lure (he makes some really nice lures) from him eventually. I'd ask.

That's cr@p. I insult Todd regularly and have yet to get anything but good trolling advice.

I wish I could at least see where my threads get moved too. Is there a way to look up what posts I have made or what threads I have started?

Well see, there you go. You need to insult him, and then back way off for awhile. Then whine a little about not having one of his baits on any board not in the basement. He's a drop dead sucker for that technique.

I'd do a number of things for a good lure but that's crossing the line.

Whoa, whoa, what? You mean ToddM is a real living person!?!?
Man,,, I assumed ToddM was a complex algorithm, auto-response M1 blog bot programmed into the musky first server.

I got this lure from Todd about 15 years ago. Don't remember what I said to him to deserve it, but KLY caught this little guy 3 times on this lure. It was retired less than a year after that trip. I miss that kid.

He was a great kid, taken way too soon. I still have a few pm's saved still read them once in awhile. Have a few of his bucktails he made, they do not see water.
