Right now I'm on Bell's Two-Hearted again after a brief affair with Leinie's Canoe Paddler.
If I'm dropping $9+ on a six pack, Bell's Two-Hearted is a close 2nd to South Shore's Nut Brown Ale.
I find Spotted Cow bland. Fat Squirrel and Two Women are much better New Glarus beers.
If I'm dropping 9 bucks there better be at least a 6 pack in each hand. |

| Lb ers,dbl 10s ,14 inch Jake's,,,if your a real REAL musky man you would go with the 24 oz cans,,duct tape a 24 to each hand that way you can't do anything including the bathroom until you finish off at least one. |

We did that with 40oz bottles of Mickey's in college....did I mention that it was a terrible idea? Cost us a washing machine and multiple drywall repairs. |

| The Germans know what their doing! Koenig Pilsner, St Paulie Girl, Haugh Brau, and regular old Becks. Good stuff! Let's face it, all beers taste great after a nice muskie of any size is boated. A big one and Blatz would be good if that's all you had in the boat;) |

Location: WI | When did Rolling Rock add flavor? It's more like a green bottle of water. Holzhacker Lager from Bull Falls Brewing in Wausau will be my celebration beer on LOTW this year. Their 5 Star aint bad either. I don't associate with people who think bud light is real beer. |

seems to me like it's one of those citrus injected beers that are good at first and then you realize it's a syrup overpowering a hoppy beer.
Leinenkugels wrote the book on it. Lemon Berry Shandy? Sounds terrible. Summer Shandy, is terrible. Berry Weiss? Grapefruit Shandy? Haven't gone there. I do like the Leinies Red Lager and their very underpromoted and not widely enough available, Original. If I want some natural citrus I'll toss an orange slice in one of the wife's Blue Moon's.
On a lager note, I'm diggin the 'Supper Club' from Capital Brewery that my friend Erik turned me onto. Very soft hopping, only semi sweet, with a nice dry slightly bitter finish that cuts the sweet unlike some of the aforementioned seasonals. While a bit pricey at $9.99 a sixer for a year rounder brewed within a hundred miles of my home, it's a nice deviation from my standby macros. |

| Spotted Cow is overrated, but pretty good in the summer. I love furious/abrasive when the lakes freeze up.
Wherever you're going, find the biggest liquor store and try out some local stuff that looks like it's been around for a while. Heck I drink PBR when I'm in PBR country, even though its terrible. |

In college I lived in a house with 8 other guys. We'd "steel reserve" each other. Basically hide the box and if someone came upon it without "calling it", they had to shotgun a steel reserve right there. I got up on morning, hid it in the fridge, and proceeded to get every other guy in the place.

| For those of you who might stop by the Birchwood on the Moen Chain, they have Labatt's Blue on tap. I was not a big fan of it bottled but really like the tap. Nice clean taste and refreshing after a day on the water. |

They use to deliver a case to my apartment every Friday.... Its hard to beat 485 years of brewing experience. For my 30th birthday party we went through 15 cases of their bier. The Doppel Bock is to die for..

Location: minocqua, wi. | God Bless the Germans ... while in China in the craziness of the rural scene we nicknamed Tsing-Tao (pronounced Ching Dow btw) "The International Plunger". we needed it too many times to count to keep the crazy stuff we ate down. The Germans and the Ausies were the most aggressive travelers and in the case of the Germans, they spread their taste and the making of beer to many of the far parts of the World. My favorite is Hefeweizen and it's on tap here in town. smooth and buttery flavor ... good stuff! |
