Does anyone have any tips on how to paint the Tennessee Shad color like Bagley used on their B-Flats, for example? That pearl has an awesome flash! I have tried (and came close) many times, but I just can't seem to clone it! It might be pearl over a black base coat. I'm pretty sure they used enamel or perhaps laquer. Any ideas?

I would say black base then gold pearl suspended in clear coat or intercoat clear coat through the mesh

I painted a Harley exact same black base gold pearl suspended in intercoat clear coat or some times referred to as base coat clear or base fix in the automotive paint realm.
