Two days and counting. Really looking forward to this trip. May the muskies bite hard and the stories flow as fast as the adult beverages. I'm counting on a personal best (not that it would take all that much)

Anybody got an update on the water temp?

See you Wednesday
Doug

Loaded up, strapped in and flying combat heavy. 2 gallons of homemade apple pie ready for the campfire. We're stopping in Jim Falls, WI to pick up the rest of the crew and layover until Wednesday morning. See you sometime in the afternoon!

Good luck this week everyone!! Wish I was there with you all. G-Rome will certainly miss me because I seem to be the only person that can catch fish out of that boat... Louie won't admit it but he's miss his inboat guide too...Ha!! I'll keep checking in.....Catch some big ones boys!!!

Fishing was great, catching was tough. Some nice Pike, and one 45.75 muskie. The fire burned late, and fishing began early. Great people, good times, and as usual, superb hospitality at Spring Bay.

Again another great outing is in the books for 2015. Thanks to the Amundson family for the outstanding hospitality! I think that Steve Worrall said it best," The fishing was great, catching was tough." No truer statement could have been made. We slapped the water hard each day and had some excitement. My partner Jim had a nice follow and I had something heavy on my line for a short time. Alas, no fish in the boat. Congrats to the Iowa ringer that caught the biggest Musky and Pike during the outing. What a lucky MF'r! We still had a lot of fun. The newbies we brought up with us are now known as the Magellan Crew, seeing that they couldn't find they're way back to Spring Bay....TWICE! Fortunately we called off the search parties. The campfires had the same BS sessions, liars and jokers. Louie - thanks for noticing my new Wolfman look! Looking forward to seeing all of you sad sacks next year! Stay safe.
