Hey all,
Got a couple of days in on Webster over the weekend, here's some info:
Water Temp Started on Friday at 63F and was at 66F when we left yesterday. (64-65 over deep water..)

Didn't put any in the boat but moved them on dark colors.

Weed beds in shallow water are very heavy and dense. The pleasure boaters/skiers were starting to tear them up and lots of floating debris was present by Sunday.

Water was very clear in most areas, 13'+ visibility.

Local talk was that weed control spraying has begun.

HTH,

Was there last week during the musky tourney. Mananged 2 34" fish and my brother had at least 12 follows with fish in the 40" to 45" range. THOSE musky have seen everything so it is a challenge to get them in the boat. And yes, the spraying has begun. Let see what the toxic soup does this time! The last chemical weed kill in 2010 did some damage. Left some areas barren of weeds. All in the name of weed free water skiing! Give me a break..........
