The locations for the Lake Vermilion event has been announced. Tournament central is Bay View Lodge. There are 2 take off and return locations. Bay View Lodge (East) and Wakemup Bay Campground (West).

Since we have never fished Lake Vermilion, I have no idea which location would be best to take off from. Anyway, it is good to see the locations have been announced.

The East end and the West end of the Lake fish like 2 different lakes.. The East end is a
little more open and "rocky"....Some really nice fish there.
The West end has a lot more weedy bays.....Some really nice fish there.
Regardless of where you fish, at any cast you have an opportunity to boat a fish of a lifetime.
I may start pre-fishing in a couple of weeks. Ha.

Give Ed a call at Vermilion Dam Lodge. They do a great job taking care of you and the resort is in the middle of the lake so you can go either direction.
