Hey guys.
I am getting into trolling and have a 2 stroke optimax with smart gauges for trolling. Can I run a bait In the propwash or will the motor be to loud? (Havent acrully ran the motor to see how loud it is yet)
thanks

I have a 115 optimax and have caught plenty of muskies trolling. My old merc 60 on my old boat too, even caught muskies trolling baits along side the boat. They don't care.

I was wondering about this as well. Haha kinda funny, a muskie is attracted by the sound of a top water but ignores the sound of something much louder.
