This will be my first show so I don't know what to expect. Do folks have a shopping list of stuff if so what's on it. I have a list see below.

1. Two rods (not looking forward to walking around with these)
2. 20-30 Pre-tied flashabou coils
3. 2-3 rubber bulldawg or bulldawg like lures
4. A top water lure
5. Stealth Leaders floro, single, and 7 strand.

I also plan to go to most of the talks.

Also plan to go to the swap meet which seems like a great idea for guys to get rid of stuff they don't use but then to pick up stuff at a good price and meet some neat folks.

That's it...maybe an impulse buy or two.

maybe a phantom or a suick, we'll see

I think there is at least 5 - 10 more, but I physically dont have my list right now at work. But I do know that its going to be an expensive reward for all the crap I've been going through over the past three weeks leading up to tomorrow. So thank god it is all over.

I don't even get to go to the swap this year, so this is really going to hurt, and feel so good at the same time

I always have a list but is mostly falls apart the second I walk through the doors. Lol. As for buying stuff you dont want to carry around just ask the dealer to hold onto it for you after you buy it. I did that with a rod and a Just Encase box at the Chicago Expo.

Looking forward to the show as always. Only two items on my list - A Musky Armor Krisco and a Big Mama Twisted Clik'r. Both of those are for my wife! Probably attending some seminars, maybe picking up a Folbe rail mount or two for my new boat if anybody has any, and maybe another thing or two if something catches my eye.

Definately getting to the point where I don't feel like more baits will catch me more fish, but always enjoy going to the shows.

The new Swedish swimbait that all.the cool insider only guys got to use last year has their ace throw back lure "finally I get to get one" !!!!! I 'll hit this booth first.

Kramer tails,Kramer tails,Kramer tails, so hard to find, made it through last year with just one and was paranoid all year that I might lose it.

Hopefully!!!!! Tony Rizzos NEW book is out from the publisher it was iffy that it would make it in time for his booth.

The new foregrip handle knob. Everybody I know is getting one, Minn is big bait territory and this is going to be a present from heaven.

Musky Innovations knows Minn is pounder country and brings more then usual and I always get swayed by a couple cool show colors

That's the known,,,what scares me is the unknown???? A whole extra row added this year to the show and at present 160+ booths not to mention ALL the things I get told "dude gotta have this" about by the pals you bump into in three days.

Is this the foregrip thing you're talking about? They do look like they would work great for the big baits in MN but probably not for big baits in WI or Canada.

All I can tell you is DON'T spend any money until you walk the floor at least once! Then go blow it all

Tackle Industries will have some great specials too. Buy 3 get one free on some of our overstock or discontinued lures and colors. Plus a lot of the profits will go to good causes. In 2014 we donated over 60% to Veterans and Children's charities. LOL Obama can't get it if I give it away

Supernatural Big Baits (HeadLocks/MattLocks) will have a booth there with a huge assortment of custom colors you won't see anywhere else. The Swedish bait company is called Svartzonker and they will be introducing their baits to the US market at the Minnesota Muskie Expo for the first time. Svartzonker is one of the biggest names in pike fishing in Europe. They have a number of different baits but their McTail jerkbait and McRubber swimbait are incredible. Hopefully they will have some of their magnum sizes with as they are just 'sick' in the water.

Question on the Mcrubber...anyone have any experience with these? I don't currently have anything like this and it looks interesting.

Compared to a shadzilla?

How much will they be asking?

Hmmm, pretty similar to the Suzy Sucker that never seemed that popular (though I know a guy that uses them often and does very well on them). Looks like it might have a little more roll to the body than the Suzy Sucker but otherwise pretty similar.
