I was trolling an 8'' jake for muskys this afternoon and was surprised to pull up this bass. Not a monster largemouth, but it is my pb and weighed 6lb. 11oz. and was 22'' long. So i was wondering what is the biggest bass you have caught while fishing for muskys? BTW- I am a bass fisherman (on occasion) and like bass. I did not kill the fish for eating all the baby muskys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ha ha

I caught one much the same size but had a musky attached to it as well. Musky let go but the bass was not doing so well with blood coming out its vent and some flesh missing.

Quite a few in the 5# to 5-1/2# range. Mostly on 8" gliders.

I got LM right as the topraider hit the water last fall on Cave Run. I've caught all of my biggest bass musky fishing. For some reason I haven't taken pics except for this one. This is the biggest and was over 6 lbs.

Caught my longest lm bass ~23" on a giant home made spinner and my heaviest about 6lbs on a giant trap while musky fishing. Caught my best SM bass 21.5 on a 7" crankbait.
