Posts: 1202 Location: Money, PA | Those things would melt in your box on a hot day...I would never use something like this for lures....I'm buying some for my kids to play with however....NEAT stuff!

Posts: 496 | Like Matt said , you could pour resin if you used it for a mold ,no need for resin to be hot

Posts: 444 | Would this work for making your "master" that you then make a mold out of so you can inject the mold with Plastiol? SK

Posts: 496 | I cant see why it wouldn't work for a master , but clay works too . Gonna need to get some and mess with it

Posts: 567 | It will work for the master. Silicon isn't like resin. Doesn't get that hot. Plus 're usable and much easier to work. Looks like it's fairly cheap too. I think I'll take my chances.....

Posts: 444 | Thanks for the reply's. I was thinking dealing with the plastimake vs clay the plastimake might be easier for me to deal with. I have an idea for a rubber swimbait that I'm going to try making. Just never done it before. Have watched lots of videos and such but still really don't understand the whole process. sk
