We'll have some custom LakeXLures in the Ross's Booth along with some other new to the area customs. The Barfighters and Musky Kombat lures are sure getting a lot of attention on my facebook page.

I rarely attend the shows unless helping vendor that I'm field staffing. Might have to make this one happen, as the kids want to attend. I'm more interested in the swap meet as I have an absolute ton of things to part with. Couple things I missed: Time and location of lure swap. I probably have enough things to set up a separate booth, but swap might be best place for it. I'll keep checking back for more details.

John, those are some great finishes. Will he finish some of my good lures in those patterns? That pumpkinseed rocks!

The only problem I've seen at swaps with kids will be the dads who send their kid to do their bidding. I've seen it twice at the MN swap where the guy selling thought he was doing the kid a solid, just to have the kid turn around and hand it off to dad. And no, it wasn't a hand off to "show off" the bait...it was, "look what I got you cheaper than what you would've."

Now, my buddy and I still basically give bucktails and spinner baits away to kids...we're not that jaded

Well I think I will try to make the swap meet. I do have a 3 hr drive home, but I might be able to hang out for a bit.

I know my youngest would love to pick up a buck tail. He "caught" his first muskie this summer (I let him reel in a 22" er)..
