Looking at buying a new reel and decided on a komodo ss but can't decide what size. Any opinions?? I throw mainly smaller bucktails ( jr doubles) and mid sized cranks and topwater.

Go somewhere you can fondle both & put um on a rod to git the feel of um.
I think Thorne Bros has both in-store.
The 400 series feels a wee bit smaller and lower than the Lexa 400 in my opinion.
My buddy has two of the 300 series, likes them a lot and I concur.
Both sizes cast wonderfully.

I have both and have the 364 on my MH spring setup.
I like the 364 for that application but i would definitely go with the 400 size for most applications

I've got a 364 and love it for double 6's, 8's and topwaters.
