| So im considering getting a downsizer for small jerks and creatures, dc7en an other small bucktails /what ever. maybe even some heavy zander jigging here in Europe.
So i was wondering what do the people that own one use it for?

| Hi Zinox,
I use the downsizer here in Austria for pike fishing. Dont be fooled by the name Downsizer it is still a very strong. No problem handling lures up to 150 grams. Way too heavy for Zander fishing.
I use the downsizer for soft baits, jerks, buchktails and spinnerbaits, twitchbaits and shallow cranks. Its my nr. 1 rod. |

| Thanks for the info the main role was lighter pike lures, as the lightest rod i have now is a sling blade. |

Location: Waukee, IA | Don't have a downsizer, but I have a MH rod that I love for small bucks, light cranks, jigs/creatures, and anything else under 2 oz. I can't imagine trying to throw light lures without a MH rod, they are cannons for early season baits |

| Depends on how light you wanna go. I like to use lures from 1-5 oz with the downsizer. If I use lures from the 1-3 oz range I rather go with the big jig bassrod from the LT series.
