Has anyone who upgraded noticed any increase in the accuracy of spotlock and autopilot? I've been struggling with mine since I bought it. Had the head replaced twice, remote once, rewired by the service center and it still never maintains the course set with autopilot and spotlock is a nightmare, often drifting 20-30' before trying to correct and then usually overshooting the whole time. I've read some claims that going from gen1 to gen2 helped work more accurately and I'm wondering if Link would help me any in that regard. Looking at that or switching to the xi5 right now but if I have networking I'd rather have it with the 'bird.

Im just wondering if it doesn't have to do with the gps signal not being very good where you are fishing. Ive noticed a big difference on fishing in different states with mine.

I had a 101 on my other boat and it was much more accurate than this one in the same locations. Mines went Gary Busey crazy before. Last time it just took off on autopilot and you couldn't turn or stop it with both remote or foot pedal and was still trying to run when stowing it. Had to pull the plug to kill it. And it's gone exorcist several times and tried to rip the cords out!

To be honest I'm not exactly sure I was told to try using my I link in legacy mode when I was having trouble and it helped a lot. walleye central is where I got my help.
