Wondering what the reviews are on this boat from any of you that have fished out of it this past year. Most curious about how it handles bigger chop like you would find on the bigger lakes. Also, how it drifts when fishing for baitfish like walleyes.

The bow seems to be lacking a bit in storage space as well. Any issues with this?

I spent some time in the boat this summer, and was impressed with the ride in what would be considered rough conditions for a boat that size and profile. The storage in the boat is more than acceptable, so I'd say no to storage issues.

I've not ridden in the boat but have seen it in person a couple times. I actually thought it was lacking storage, really nothing in the bow area. It also lacks rear casting deck/pedestal for the muskie/bass crowd. I honestly think the Tuffy layouts are superior and will be interested to see if the x-176 will offer a tiller version and how it will compare with the Ranger side by side.

Anybody use one this year?

I am looking to get rid of my 1810 Predator for a tiller boat and this looks like a great Northern WI/ River Boat.

I looked at them VS the 1725 Pro Guide. I'm going with the Pro Guide. It was close but for a true multispecies approach the pro guide has better rod storage. If I only fished Musky I would go with the 175T because of the rod locker length, but that isn't the case for me.

Good bye Predator, hello Pro Guide.

Surprised nobody here has one. I really like the ability to walk along the sides of the boat, having a 680T, this is a plus for the Ranger. However, other than that, I kinda like the Tuffy layout better.

But with the Ranger 175T the side areas are raised to the same height as the front deck, pretty sweet

i bought a 175t late last summer, have only fished muskies out of it so far. Storage space is an issue, none in the bow. For multi spices guys like me it will likely force me to use the shorter rod locker for life jackets/rain gear ect. instead of having walleye rods in one rod box and muskie rods in the other. That is the only negative I've found so far though, I like the ride, the fish ablity and my customers all seem to enjoy, which is big.
