| The Illinois Muskie Tournament Trail has released its 2015 Trail calendar. This year's Trail includes ten great events:

April 11 & 12 IMTT Jake Wolf Memorial Tournament on Spring Lake North, Manito, IL
May 2 & 3 Shawnee Muskie Hunters Spring Fling Tournament on Kinkaid Lake, Murphysboro, IL
May 16 Fox River Valley Muskie Club Challunge Tournament on Fox Chain of Lakes, Antioch, IL
May 30 IMTT Russ Schaller Memorial Tournament on Fox Chain of Lakes, Antioch, IL
Sept. 12 IMTT Gregg Tichacek Memorial Tournament on Lake McMaster, Victoria, IL
Sept. 27 Quad County Hawg Hunters Tournament on Evergreen Lake, Hudson, IL

The IMTT is a not-for-profit organization. In 2015 77% of IMTT regular event entry fees will be paid out in prizes, with the remainder used to cover tournament expenses and for fishery improvement projects. Over the last three years the IMTT has contributed over $9,000 to fishery improvement and scholarships for fishery biology students.
The State Championship in October will be the highlight of the 2015 Illinois Muskie season - a “not-to-be-missed” event. Seven Illinois muskie clubs, including the Chicagoland Chapter, Midwest Musky Club, Fox River Valley Chapter, Shawnee Muskie Hunters Chapter, Lake Shelbyville Muskie Club, South of the Border Chapter, and the Quad County Hawg Hunters Chapter are partnering with the IMTT to host this Championship tournament. Our goal is to make the 2015 Championship be the largest, and most fun, muskie tournament ever held in the Midwest. The Championship will be a 50% prize payout, with the net proceeds being distributed to each co-host muskie club specifically for a fishery improvement project selected by the club. So while we’re having a blast, we’re also doing good for the fishery!
