This bait was by far my favorite build so far. These huge baits take many more hours to finish, but I'll for sure be making more!

Thanks! I wanted to really beef up the hardware on these big baits. Pinning in a 3/8 inch Lexan lip just seemed like the right thing to do

Yep, it's a hand carved wooden bait. It's mostly carved out in a vise with a 1" chisel. I had in my mind while carving this one to make some body shape and leave curves where the fins would be.

Thanks! It floats/dives quick, and THUMPS like a jackhammer when it's down there. I had it around 14-16 feet.

Thanks! The line tie is made from two stainless steel wires (.041") tightly twisted together.
If this one finds its way to the bay I think that name would suffice!

i like the idea of the twisted wire im sure the noise it will make could attract fish
