I'm here now. Slow fishing a few follows but very slow. On black bucktails i ran all the way to split rock today with no luck. No pike anywhere??? Normal years there are pike everywhere but not this year. I'm after musky but would like to catch something.
Suggestions on where to try tomorrow????? Different lures etc. HELP

Been a little slow this week. Downsize your baits a bit and cover as much water as you can. hit prime structure and proven spots from the past when things are slower. Fish the points and rocks etc rather than the long pieces of shoreline leading up. Watch your solunar data and hit your best spots at the best times. Twitch baits and gliders can move fish and get them to show themselves so you can come back for them later. Good luck.

The traditional good spots are holding fish but the feeding windows are short. Very few follows other than in early morning or late evening but the fish are there.
If you see baitfish in an area, there are likely predators nearby. Our best areas had baitfish scattering during retrieves.
