Any news on how Waconia has been this year?

I saw a nice muskie (est. 48"), and put a couple 36" pike in the boat on 3 trips earlier in the year. I hate the Minnetonka crowds so this will be a fall spot a couple of times. I fished it three time in mid-July on weekends and saw 2 other boats fishing muskies. As usual, I didn't get the dead sea memo. If the weather is hideous, I will hit Tonka. It certainly is not what is was like when I fished it 12 years ago, and rumor is that is got much better before the so-called "crash". Tonka has had much better stocking, which is still not sufficient to make it what it was.

I'm planning to go but I my tires are all worn out to drive. Right now, I'm waiting for my replacement set of Toyo tires to arrive.
