| Hi all,
heading to Leech this fall and looking for a resort recommendation. I haven't been up there in awhile so looking for any recommendations. Protected harbor and boat slip is important to me. Other than that, i'm fishing so i don't need maid service.

If it blows you can always get out and go fining
I live here on the bay and there are some real nice fish here
And really doesn't get a lot of pressure and you are close to Walker Bay where I my opinion the biggest fish in this lake live have fun and be safe |

Location: Illinois | Andersons cove in steamboat bay. If you plan to fish anything other than muskies, you can catch it in steamboat. Fishable in any wind. |

I stayed at Brindley's last fall and next time I go to leech I'll stay there again.
Nice clean cabin, protected harbor, good location, fish cleaning, reasonable rates. Couldn't ask for much more. |

| Does anyone have any feedback on Adventure north resort? Looks like they have a nice protected harbor. A couple of the resorts recommended look like there booked solid for the week i plan to go up. |

| If I had to stay at a resort adventure north would be my first choice. Stayed there a few times during late ice perch fishing and they always had the cabins cleaned and treated us very good. |

| Since no one has mentioned it yet...
I've stayed at Anderson's Horseshoe Bay Resort twice. It's another good option, I'd say. Can't compare it to anything else, since I haven't stayed anywhere else on Leech.
I felt it had a good, somewhat central location. It's in the SW corner of the main body of the lake. The reefs around Pelican are 5 - 6 miles from the resort. About 10 miles to get into Walker Bay; about the same to the mouth of Portage Bay; same to Sucker Bay. It has a harbor, landing, and boat slips for rent like you want.
I haven't stayed in the cabins - just a "Lakeside Villa" and a hotel room. They were nice. It's well set up for families, so maybe you won't want that. But in the fall, I doubt there will be many kids around.
